Yes! Yes! Not Oz or Asia I know, but life goes on and it seems the right time to continue recording our memories, especially as it was probably the last decent weather we will have this year?
We did as we normally do and set off in the evening, parked up somewhere quiet just off of the M50 overnight and then set off early the following morning so we had a full day once we were sorted.
We arrived at Port Eynon and really thought there would be no chance of getting onto the site as it was packed so parked in the carpark and while Al got the breakfast on I walked the pooch and went to check if there was actually any space.
No hook up, on a bit of a slope £18, not bad for bank holiday.
Had a couple of days of walking along the coastal path and generally chilling, then decided to get the bus to Rhossili and walk back along the coastal path.
Was enjoyable but too hot and we didn’t appreciate how far and how up and down it actually was, at one point we had been going for over 2 hours and met a couple who had set off from Port Eynon and asked them how much further to go.
She replied in an overly cheerful way “Oh, another hour and a half if you get a move on and you should be there”
I could have attacked her there and then even if it was just to nick their well prepared rucksac complete with water container!
Not many pics to post this time as for some reason it spent most of the time in the van along with the binoculars!
A lovely relaxing weekend.
